Contact Us

Questions, bug reports, or feature ideas? The fastest way to reach us is email. We read every message and reply within 48 hours on business days.

Email us

[email protected]

That one address handles everything: support questions, bug reports, feature requests, press inquiries, and privacy concerns. There is no ticketing portal and no support chatbot — a human reads your message.

How to get the fastest answer

A few details make it dramatically easier for us to help you:

  • What you were trying to do. "I uploaded a 45-second MP4 and clicked Choose Video" beats "it didn't work."
  • What happened instead. Paste any error message word for word, or describe where the process stopped (upload, analyzing, download).
  • Your setup. Browser name and version (for example, Chrome 129 on Windows), and roughly how large the video file was.
  • For subtitle quality issues: the language spoken in the video, and one example of a line that was transcribed wrong.

You never need to send us your video file — in fact, please don't attach large files to email. Since SubEasy processes everything in your browser, most issues can be diagnosed from the details above.

Reporting a bug

If the tool fails for you, try these quick checks first — they resolve most reports:

  • Confirm the clip is 60 seconds or shorter and under 100 MB.
  • Use MP4, MOV, or WebM; some MKV and AVI files carry audio codecs browsers cannot decode.
  • Hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R) so the latest app code loads.
  • Try a private/incognito window to rule out a browser extension interfering with the page.

If it still fails, email us with the details above and we will investigate.

Requesting a feature

We build the roadmap from user requests. When suggesting a feature, tell us the job you are trying to get done rather than the exact button you imagine — for example, "I need captions in two languages on one video" rather than "add a dual-language export." It helps us design the right solution. Popular requests so far include longer video support, batch processing, and VTT/ASS export formats.

Before you write

These guides answer the most common questions instantly:

What happens after you email

Every message is read by a person, not a bot. Simple questions usually get an answer the same day; bug reports may take a little longer while we reproduce the issue on our side. If we need more information we will ask specific follow-up questions rather than sending a generic reply. We do not send marketing emails and we never add your address to any list — your email is used only to continue the conversation you started.

Press and partnerships
